Are you trying to remove the advertisements on your MSN?
Do you wish to open two Windows Live Messengers at a time to login with two different accounts (multi-MSN)?
Try using A-Patch and be excited.
A-Patch is a lightweight application (no installation required) designed to slim down and customize MSN Windows Live Messenger. It typically has over 80 options but Microsoft has already designed and implemented some of the features in the later versions of MSN. The author is known to create new versions of A-Patch consisting of important and popular features before he gets the other features back for new versions of Windows Live Messenger – time is needed to code them.
It is definitely straightforward and easy to use. Just select the features that you need and click on the “Apply” button at the bottom.
Some of the Important Features of A-Patch:
Remove advertisement from main window
Remove text advertisement in the IM window
Polygamy/Multi-MSN – open more than one Messenger at once
Remove the “See More Offerings” items in the file menus
Remove “Featured” section from the Emoticons “more” dialog box
Disable Nudge Shake
Remove Nudge Delay
Remove the top of the Contact List
Remove Search Bar.
Remove the “Connected to…” bar
Accept more than 3 files (transfers at a time)
Disable Photo Sharing
Disable Video Sharing
Please note that patching Windows Live/MSN Messenger infringes Microsoft’s Terms of Use. Do it at your own risk.
